Happy Easter!

Austin was NOT a fan of the easter bunny. It was quite funny actually. This was the only one where he wasnt full on screaming-should have gotten one of those instead. Ah well. We didnt torture him for very long...not even 1 minute and im sure he doesnt even remember. Its crazy, we were standing in line foreverrr(because 1 family took about 100 pictures , no lie...its JUST the easter bunny people!) Anyway, he was waving and trying to jump out of my arms to get to him but once he sat on his lap he freaked. Crazy kid.

Even tho he was a screamer, the easter bunny was very good to him this year! He got TODDLER mum mums, peeps, a leaptop, some toys for his water/sand table, couple BUCKS(lol), and 2 March of Dimes stuffed animals.

I was quite nervous to bring him to church because he is a wild one. I wanted to go to covenant because they have a cry room where they can play and you can still hear whats going on. Good thing because he was great for all the music and such but then he got a little restless! After church we went to my sister-in-laws mother-in-laws house for lunch. It was nice but i sure did miss cooking!

I cant wait for next year when Austin will be old enough to take part in all of the fun Easter festivities!

My favorite gift

For my birthday I got some pretty great gifts. (Mommy will send out thank yous eventually-but thank you all again!) I havent used them all yet, but so far this is my faaavorite! Mommy and daddy take me on walks all the time and I just think riding in my wagon like the big boy I am is the coolest thing ever! Maybe next year I will have some company in my wagon..it is so roomy but im a little lonley. Mommy said I have to be very good and tell daddy I want a little sissy, so we will see!

I cant believe 1 whole year has gone by since i gave birth to my rainbow. They werent kidding when they said it goes by fast. I can hardly remember anything! Well, im sure some of that has to do with the lack of sleep. I just recently stopped nursing (down to maybe 1 or 2 times/day) so we are all much more rested. He is usually sleeping from 8:30-6:30 in his crib, in his room. Woohoo. Now its just learning how to sleep without a little person attached to me! Easier than it seems.

Every day he walks just a tad bit more and it is so fun to watch him. I rarely watch tv, he is just so entertaining...and exhausting all the same. We have quite the daredevil on our hands. Always climbing up something. The other day i caught him almost completely on top of the entertainment center. He LOVES to be right up in front of the tv and tries to give it kisses. Im guessing thats what he was doing! lol. His other favorite place to be is on top of the coffee table. He just goes in circles crawling on it. Sure i could say get down! But hes just too cute :)

He got a rocker recliner chair for christmas and just this last week started to love it. Hes up and down on that chair all day long. He will bring something with him to rock with, a book or a truck, and then drop it....get down to get it...back up...and he repeats this quite a few times.

His favorite food is broccoli and turkey dogs.

Lots of sounds come out of his little mouth but no real words besides mama and dadaa. He loves Chloe and points at everything. 

His birthday party was on his birth day and we had it at Sam Michaels Park. It was a seusstastic time! {But boy im glad its over!lol}

I cant wait to see what this year brings and all the new things he will learn. I sure love my rambunctious rainbow, Austin Bane! <3
